Tour Highlights
Arrive into Fairbanks, Alaska for your Land Tour with Norwegian Cruise Lines. We'll have overnights in Fairbanks where you'll enjoy a riverboat cruise and see the Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline. We'll ride the Alaska Railroad in a window-domed Adventure Class railcar to Denali National Park for an overnight stay. We'll enjoy a Natural History Tour by bus and visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Travelers will have free time in Denali for activities of their own choosing (whitewater rafting, helicopter flightseeing, hiking, etc.) before heading into the city of Anchorage. Our Land Tour ends in Whittier where we board the cruise ship, Norwegian Jade.
Our ports of call include a scenic sail along Hubbard Glacier, Icy Strait Point, Juneau, Skagway, Ketchikan, and finally Vancouver, British Columbia.
Of all my travels, Alaska is easily one of my favorite places to experience! Make plans now to join us on this exciting adventure. I selected the dates based on traditional bear activity. The time frame of late July to early August includes the salmon season which draws the bears. It's strongly encouraged to sign up for excursions early as they will sell out (especially the tours to see bears.) It's also an option to extend your stay pre-trip or post-trip.
