Jekyll Island, GA - November 2016

We had a group caravan from Asheville, NC and others met us on the Island. We rented a large beach house for 10 people as home-base and made our way around the Island for three days. We did an evening of light painting at the old Horton House and Cemetery and started fresh the next morning with a sunrise shoot at Driftwood Beach. Sunset found us at the Sidney Lanier Bridge where we were treated to an impressive sunset.

The next day we toured the Georgia Sea Turtle Center and later explored the salt marshes of St. Simon's Sound onboard Credle's shrimping vessel. We learned all kinds of ecological facts from our Captain and First Mate while enjoying a relaxing tour on the water. Afterwards, we feasted at the dock-side reasturant which is supplied by the shrimping vessel fleet that hosted our sunset tour.
